The Auroom Familia was designed for those who want a calm, traditional sauna experience with a clean modern character. Its vertical wall panels, natural wood front, 2-tier benching, and soft interior lighting create a reassuring atmosphere made for rest and recreation. With multiple sizes, three wood finish options, and DIY cabin construction, Familia brings flexible sauna comfort to homes, gyms, hotels, and private wellness spaces.
Every measurement, material, and configuration detail of the Auroom Familia indoor cabin sauna.
The Auroom Familia is available in five cabin sizes, giving homeowners, gyms, hotels, and wellness spaces more flexibility when planning an indoor sauna layout. From compact 2-person models to larger 6-person cabins, Familia keeps a clean vertical wood design, comfortable 2-tier benching, and a reassuring enclosed sauna feel.
The Auroom Familia arrives as a complete DIY indoor sauna cabin kit with sauna wall panels, ceiling elements, bench components, lighting, mouldings, fastening hardware, duckboard floor grids, tempered glass door, and premium accessories. Its modular cabin design makes it a practical option for homes, gyms, hotels, and private wellness rooms.
Two people, basic tools, and a dry, level indoor surface are recommended for proper assembly.
Every Familia sauna includes the core cabin structure, side wall cladding, ceiling elements, bench system, floor grids, lighting, trim, fastening hardware, and a premium sauna accessory package for a complete indoor sauna experience.
Choose a dry, level indoor area with enough clearance for the selected Familia cabin size. Confirm ceiling height, floor support, door swing direction, ventilation space, and access for moving large sauna panels and components into the room.
Lay out the base frame, side wall cladding, ceiling elements, bench frames, bench grids, mouldings, lighting, glass door, hardware, and accessories. Check all parts against the included kit list before beginning assembly.
Assemble the standard base frame, vertical supports, side wall cladding, ceiling elements, and structural mouldings. Keep the cabin level and properly aligned throughout the build for a clean final fit.
Fit the 8mm tempered glass door, confirm the selected left or right-hand hinge orientation, and secure the premium natural oak wood and metal handle. Check that the door opens smoothly before continuing.
Install the horizontal bench supports, upper bench frame, lower bench frame, bench grids, bench skirt, and backrest supports. The 2-tier bench layout gives the Familia a comfortable traditional sauna seating arrangement.
Install the pair of wall light sconces, duckboard floor grids, vertical mouldings, horizontal mouldings, and finishing nails. These final details help complete the clean, warm, and refined sauna interior.
LED lighting and any selected sauna heater should be connected according to manufacturer requirements. A licensed electrician is recommended for heater wiring, dedicated circuits, controls, lighting connections, and final safety checks.
Check door movement, bench stability, lighting, trim alignment, floor grids, accessories, and heater placement before use. Run an initial heat cycle to condition the sauna interior and confirm safe, proper operation.
The Auroom Familia is designed as a DIY indoor sauna cabin kit and should be paired with a compatible electric sauna heater based on the selected cabin size, seating capacity, and room volume. Because Familia is available in multiple sizes up to 6 people, electrical requirements may vary depending on the heater output, control system, lighting setup, and local building code.

Most $8,000 purchases come with a phone tree. Ours comes with a person. When something goes sideways — a lost shipment, a freight delay, a damaged panel, a question at 9 PM on a Wednesday — you text us. We text back. Same day, often the same hour. We call the manufacturer. We chase the freight company. We solve the problem while you go on with your life. That's what we mean by boutique concierge service. It's the difference between buying a sauna and being supported through one.
If your shipment goes missing, we're on the phone with the freight carrier before you even know there's a problem. You don't chase anyone. We do.
You hear about delays from us, before you wonder. We monitor every shipment, every day, until it's in your driveway.
If a panel arrives damaged or a heater malfunctions, we escalate directly to Leil, HUUM, or Harvia on your behalf. You don't make a single warranty call. We handle the back-and-forth.
Text us. Email us. Call us. You get a real answer from a real person — not a chatbot, not a ticket number, not a 48-hour response window.
We're not the cheapest box on the internet. We're the team that picks up the phone after the box is in your driveway. That's what we stand behind — every order, every customer, every day.
Call (605) 702-4868The Auroom Familia is a DIY indoor sauna cabin kit designed for controlled interior spaces such as home wellness rooms, basements, gyms, hotels, spa rooms, and private indoor sauna areas. While it features natural wood finishes, vertical wall panels, 8mm tempered glass, LED lighting, wall light sconces, and quality cabin construction, it is not built for direct outdoor exposure such as rain, snow, UV sunlight, freezing temperatures, or changing outdoor humidity conditions.
The Auroom Familia is available in three premium sauna wood finishes: Aspen, Alder, and Thermo-Aspen. Each wood option brings its own look and performance benefits, giving customers flexibility to choose a cabin style that matches their space, comfort preferences, and long-term wellness design.
Aspen offers a smooth texture and beautiful light tone that keeps the Familia interior clean, bright, and comfortable. It does not get too hot, does not secrete resin, and helps create a calm sauna feel.
Alder provides a natural wood look with dependable durability, light weight, and water-repellent qualities. Its warmer tone gives the Familia a cozy, traditional sauna appearance.
Thermo-Aspen is lightweight, durable, and resistant to warping. The thermal process removes moisture from the wood, helping improve stability while maintaining a clean, non-toxic, eco-friendly sauna material.
Familia features vertical interior wall and ceiling panels with narrow, sharp-edged profiles. This gives the sauna a refined modern look while preserving the familiar warmth of a classic indoor wood cabin.
The Auroom Familia ships as a complete DIY indoor sauna cabin kit with structural sauna components, bench framing, wall and ceiling elements, side cladding, duckboard floor grids, lighting, mouldings, fastening hardware, glass door hardware, and premium sauna accessories.
Includes the standard base frame, ceiling elements, cladding on two side walls, vertical support components, and the main structural pieces needed for the Familia indoor sauna cabin.
The Familia is designed to pair with a compatible sauna heater based on the selected cabin size. Heater package, controls, and electrical requirements may vary by configuration.
Includes upper bench grid, upper bench frame, lower bench grid, lower bench frame, horizontal bench supports, bench skirt, and backrest supports for traditional sauna seating.
Includes vertical mouldings, horizontal mouldings, floor grids, wall light sconces, and matching finish components that help complete the clean indoor sauna appearance.
Includes fastening screws, moulding nails, a tempered 8mm glass door, premium natural oak wood and metal handle, plus left or right-handed hinge configuration options.
Includes bucket, ladle, thermometer, hygrometer, sand timer, aroma set, sauna hat, and sauna pillow for a complete indoor sauna bathing experience.
