particles larger than 0.3 microns and 99% of those larger than 0.1 microns, including viruses,
bacteria, mold, spores, pollen, and dander. The HEPA filter lasts up to five years under normal
residential use.
For enhanced protection, the Austin "it" filter can be upgraded with a dual-stage VOC Carbon Wrap,
which adsorbs chemicals, gases, VOCs, and odors. This upgrade is ideal for environments with
pollutants and is designed to last three months under typical conditions.
