Installation Steps
Prepare Indoor Space
Select a flat, stable indoor surface such as tile, sealed concrete, or reinforced flooring. Ensure adequate ceiling clearance and maintain recommended spacing around the unit for ventilation and service access.
Unpack & Organize Components
Carefully unpack and verify all labeled components against the checklist. Organize wall panels, benches, and ceiling modules in assembly order for efficient installation flow.
Assemble Base & Wall Structure
Install the base frame and leveling feet first, then assemble Thermowood® wall panels in sequence. Lock all structural joints to ensure rigidity and long-term stability.
Install Ceiling, Door & Benches
Mount the insulated ceiling system, install the tempered glass door with black-metal hardware, and assemble the Aspen bench system including the three-level seating layout.
Licensed Electrician Connects Heater
Heater installation must be completed by a licensed electrician. The Como 4-180 is compatible with appropriately sized electric sauna heaters (based on ~5.0 m³ volume). Wiring must comply with local electrical codes for safe operation.
Initial Heat Cycle & Conditioning
Run an initial low-heat cycle with ventilation open to allow Thermowood® and Aspen materials to acclimate. A mild natural wood aroma is normal and will fade after initial use.
