Which heater fits the Viva 120 — Harvia or HUUM?
Harvia KIP80W 8.0 kW
High-Power Option- Best for: Faster heat-up times and colder outdoor climates
- Output: 8.0 kW — more than enough for ~2.7 m³ (95 ft³) volume
- Control: Built-in mechanical controls (simple manual operation)
- Style: Traditional compact wall-mounted sauna heater design
- Why it works: The Harvia KIP80W delivers strong, fast heating performance, making it ideal for users who want quick sauna readiness and maximum heat intensity in outdoor conditions. It is robust, reliable, and widely used in residential sauna setups.
HUUM DROP 6.0 kW
Premium Option- Best for: Design-focused outdoor sauna experience with smoother steam

Will it fit your space? We’ll help you plan it right.
The Viva 120 is a compact 1-person outdoor sauna designed to fit comfortably in small outdoor spaces such as patios, terraces, and private garden corners. Its narrow footprint and tall vertical profile maximize internal comfort while minimizing ground space requirements. Proper clearance should be allowed around the unit for ventilation, roof drainage, and safe heater operation.
One person build. Half day setup.
The Viva 120 arrives as a precision-engineered outdoor sauna kit designed for straightforward DIY assembly. Its modular ThermoWood® structure and pre-finished components allow most of the build to be completed using basic tools. The EPDM roof system and ventilation setup are integrated for long-term outdoor durability. Final heater connection must always be completed by a licensed electrician for safe operation.
One to two people recommended. Basic tools required (drill, level, screwdriver). No heavy machinery needed.

Installation Steps
Prepare Outdoor Base
Install the sauna on a flat, level, and load-bearing outdoor surface such as concrete, pavers, or a reinforced deck. Ensure proper drainage and allow clearance around the structure for ventilation and roof runoff.
Unpack & Organize Components
Unpack all labeled components and verify them against the checklist. Organize wall panels, roof elements, and interior components in assembly order for a smooth build process.
Assemble Base & Wall Structure
Assemble the base frame first, then install ThermoWood® wall panels in sequence. Secure all joints tightly to ensure structural rigidity for outdoor conditions.
Install Roof, Door & Interior Bench
Fit the EPDM-sealed roof system, install the bronze glass door with hardware, and mount the thermo-alder bench and backrest inside the cabin.
Licensed Electrician Connects Heater
The sauna heater must be installed by a licensed electrician. The Viva 120 supports compatible electric sauna heaters (6.0–8.0 kW range depending on selection). All wiring must follow local outdoor electrical codes and safety standards.
Initial Heat Cycle & Wood Conditioning
Run a first heat cycle with ventilation open to allow ThermoWood® and thermo-alder materials to acclimate. A natural wood aroma is expected and will diminish after initial use.
Yes, it runs on 240V —
and it’s built for outdoor performance.
The Viva 120 uses a standard residential 240V hardwired sauna heater circuit, similar to an electric oven or dryer. Depending on your heater selection — typically 6.0 kW HUUM DROP or 8.0 kW Harvia KIP80W — the system requires a dedicated 30–40 amp breaker. Its 2.7 m³ interior volume is compact and highly efficient, allowing fast heat-up times and strong, consistent sauna performance even in outdoor conditions.

Good luck getting
Costco on the phone.
Most $8,000 purchases come with a phone tree. Ours comes with a person. When something goes sideways — a lost shipment, a freight delay, a damaged panel, a question at 9 PM on a Wednesday — you text us. We text back. Same day, often the same hour. We call the manufacturer. We chase the freight company. We solve the problem while you go on with your life. That's what we mean by boutique concierge service. It's the difference between buying a sauna and being supported through one.
Lost in Transit
If your shipment goes missing, we're on the phone with the freight carrier before you even know there's a problem. You don't chase anyone. We do.
Shipping Delays
You hear about delays from us, before you wonder. We monitor every shipment, every day, until it's in your driveway.
Manufacturer Defect
If a panel arrives damaged or a heater malfunctions, we escalate directly to Leil, HUUM, or Harvia on your behalf. You don't make a single warranty call. We handle the back-and-forth.
A Question at 9 PM
Text us. Email us. Call us. You get a real answer from a real person — not a chatbot, not a ticket number, not a 48-hour response window.
We're not the cheapest box on the internet. We're the team that picks up the phone after the box is in your driveway. That's what we stand behind — every order, every customer, every day.
