Thermo-Spruce lasts up to twice as long as Cedar and provides superior thermal resistance. It is more dimensionally stable, eco-friendly, and chemical-free, making it a longer-lasting and sustainable choice for sauna construction, especially in outdoor conditions.
The E7 Sauna Barrel’s design features a spacious 6’-5” interior height, along with contoured Thermo-Aspen benches and an arched backrest that ensures full lumbar support. The large diameter of the barrel helps maintain a comfortable posture, providing a more relaxing sauna experience for users of all body types.
Yes, the E7 is engineered for a simple DIY installation that typically requires just two people and a single day. The kit comes with easy-to-follow instructions, all necessary hardware, and extra materials like Thermo-Spruce staves for added convenience during setup.
The E7 comes with a Wi-Fi-controlled white LED lighting system that enhances the ambiance. It features app-based control, a wireless remote, and the ability to expand up to four light fixtures. For an extra touch, the E Sconce+ and E MOOD lighting packages provide additional outdoor lighting effects.
The E7 features dual floor drains to manage water runoff. One is positioned under the sauna heater to handle water splashes, and the other near the door to manage any water from cold plunges or pool use. These drains ensure proper water elimination, even if the sauna shifts slightly out of level.
The E7 Sauna Barrel requires minimal maintenance. It’s recommended to use paraffin oil on the interior to preserve the wood’s luster and prevent damage. Regular cleaning and water management (via the floor drains) will keep the sauna in great condition. Additionally, keeping the roof shingles free from debris and ensuring proper ventilation will help maintain its longevity.
